To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus capable of improving efficiency of positioning work between an X-ray irradiation unit and an X-ray detection unit by suppressing movement of a visual line of an operator.SOLUTION: An X-ray imaging apparatus 100 includes: an X-ray irradiation unit 1 for irradiating a subject 90 with an X-ray; an X-ray detection unit 2 for detecting the X-ray radiated from the X-ray irradiation unit 1; an external world transmission type display unit 4a mounted on the head of an operator 91 executing positioning between the X-ray irradiation unit 1 and the X-ray detection unit 2 that allows an external world to be visually recognized while an image is visually recognized; and a control unit 4b for controlling the display of the external world transmission type display unit 4a so that an image 11 indicating the position of the X-ray irradiation unit 1 and an image 12 indicating the position of the X-ray detection unit 2 are superimposed with the subject 90 in a visual field range when the operator 91 visually recognizes the external world through the external world transmission type display unit 4a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】作業者の視線の移動を抑制することにより、Ｘ線照射部とＸ線検出部との位置合わせの作業の効率を向上させることが可能なＸ線撮像装置を提供する。【解決手段】このＸ線撮像装置１００は、被検者９０にＸ線を照射するＸ線照射部１と、Ｘ線照射部１から照射されたＸ線を検出するＸ線検出部２と、Ｘ線照射部１とＸ線検出部２との位置合わせを行う作業者９１の頭部に装着され、画像を視認しながら外界を視認可能な外界透過型表示部４ａと、Ｘ線照射部１の位置を表す画像１１と、Ｘ線検出部２の位置を表す画像１２とが、作業者９１が外界透過型表示部４ａを介して外界を視認する際の視野範囲内の被検者９０に重畳されるように、外界透過型表示部４ａの表示を制御する制御部４ｂと、を備える。【選択図】図５
