To provide a vehicle door handle device with improved assemblability.SOLUTION: A vehicle door handle device 1 comprises: a base 10 which is fixed to a door panel; a grip 21 which can be gripped from outside a cabin; and a switch device 30 which is arranged adjacent to the grip 21. The grip 21 is supported on the base 10 so as to be rotatable around the first shaft, and can shift into a state of protruding from an outer surface of the door panel by rotating from the state where an outer surface of the grip is flush with the outer surface of the door panel. The switch device 30 comprises: a switch body which is arranged in the door panel; and a switch cover which covers the switch body. The switch cover is supported on the base 10 so as to be rotatable around a second shaft, and switches on/off states of a switch element by rotating from the state where the outer surface the switch cover is flush with the outer surface of the door panel, so as to enter an inner surface of the door panel to be engaged with the switch body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A 【課題】組み立て性を向上させた車両用ドアハンドル装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両用ドアハンドル装置１は、ドアパネルに固定されるベース１０と、車室外から把持可能なグリップ２１と、グリップ２１に隣接配置されたスイッチ装置３０とを備える。グリップ２１は、第１軸まわりに回動可能なようにベース１０に支持され、その外側面がドアパネルの外側面と同一面内に位置する状態から回動して、ドアパネルの外側面から突出した状態へ遷移可能である。スイッチ装置３０は、ドアパネル内に配置されたスイッチ本体と、スイッチ本体を覆うスイッチカバーとを備える。スイッチカバーは、第２軸まわりに回動可能なようにベース１０に支持され、その外側面がドアパネルの外側面と同一面内に位置する状態から回動して、ドアパネルの内側面へ進入してスイッチ本体に係合してスイッチ素子のオン・オフ状態を切り替える。【選択図】図２Ａ
