To provide: a method of treating the collected water including ironmaking dust to make it usable as a raw material for ironmaking; and a method of directly using the concentrated collected water itself obtained by such treatment as a granulated material in the production of granulation raw materials for sintering.SOLUTION: Provided is a method of thickening-treating the collected water from ironmaking dust, comprising: a preliminary treatment process of introducing collected dusty water containing ironmaking dusts to a sedimentation tank and separating it into an upper layer and a sedimentation layer by a sedimentation method; a thickening process of adjusting the concentration of the collected water by draining at least part of the upper water comprising the upper layer; and a homogenizing process of, after treatment in the thickening process, stirring the thickened collected water in the sedimentation tank to suppress the settling of solids and to homogenize the thickened collected water. Also provided is a method of using the concentrated collected water as granulation water in the granulation of the raw material for sintering.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】製鉄ダストを含む集塵水そのものを製鉄用原料として利用可能な状態にするための処理方法、およびそうした処理によって得られた濃化集塵水それ自体を焼結用造粒原料製造時の造粒化資材として直接用いるための方法を提案する。【解決手段】製鉄ダスト類を含有する集塵水を沈殿槽に導き、沈降法によって上澄層と沈殿層とに分離する予備処理工程と、上記上澄層を構成している上水の少なくとも一部を排水することによって該集塵水の濃度を調整する濃化工程と、上記濃化工程での処理の後に、沈殿槽内の濃化集塵水を攪拌することによって、固形分の沈降を抑制すると共に該濃化集塵水を均質化を図る均一化工程と、を含む製鉄ダスト集塵水の濃化処理方法、および前記濃化集塵水を、焼結用原料の造粒に当っての造粒水として用いる焼結用造粒原料の製造方法。【選択図】図３
