To mount a battery body 11 on a battery tray 12 without brought into contact with a bolt 126.SOLUTION: A battery unit for a vehicle includes a battery body, a resin battery ray 12 which is fixed to a vehicle body and allows the battery body to be mounted thereon, a metal bolt 126 erected on both side parts of the battery tray, and a battery clamp 13 which is engaged on the battery body 11 mounted on the battery tray 12 from above, is connected to the bolt 126 on both sides of the battery body 11 and holds the battery body 11 on the battery tray 12.
