Summary: | To enhance fuel consumption of a hybrid vehicle which continues fuel supply to an internal combustion engine when fuel cut is executable.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle has an operation mode that allows for: independently executing electric power generation using an internal combustion engine 10; and driving of drive wheels. The hybrid vehicle alters operation points of the internal combustion engine 10 according to an SOC of a battery and continues fuel supply to the internal combustion engine 10 when a fuel cut permission condition is satisfied during the operation mode with a temperature of a manifold catalyst 44 being prescribed temperature or more. In addition, the hybrid vehicle stops the fuel supply to the internal combustion engine 10 when the fuel cut permission condition is satisfied during the operation mode with the temperature of the manifold catalyst 44 being below the prescribed temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】燃料カットが実施可能な場面で内燃機関への燃料供給を継続するハイブリッド車両の燃費を向上させる。【解決手段】ハイブリッド車両は、内燃機関10を利用した発電と、駆動輪の駆動と、を独立して実施可能な運転モードを有する。ハイブリッド車両は、上記運転モード中にマニホールド触媒44の温度が所定温度以上の状態で燃料カット許可条件が成立した場合、バッテリのSOCに応じて内燃機関10の運転点を変更し、内燃機関10への燃料供給を継続する。また、ハイブリッド車両は、上記運転モード中にマニホールド触媒44の温度が所定温度未満の状態で燃料カット許可条件が成立した場合には、内燃機関10への燃料供給を停止する。【選択図】図2 |
