Summary: | To provide a vehicular exterior component made visually recognizable in a metallic style with external light being intensive, meanwhile, illuminatable with the external light being weak, with a rate of wavelength component of an irradiation light at illumination made adjustable.SOLUTION: A vehicular exterior component 100 includes: a clear transparent member 101 which includes an external surface 101a directed outward of a vehicle and an internal surface 101b directed inward of the vehicle; a luminosity thin film 102 made of a metal which is provided on the internal surface 101b of the transparent member 101 and simultaneously reflects at least one part of the light entering from the external surface 101a to the transparent member 101 and at the same time penetrates through a remainder; and an interference film 103 which is disposed on the internal surface 101b side of the transparent member 101, interposing the luminosity thin film 102 made of the metal between the transparent member 101 and itself and simultaneously reflects or absorbs a part pf wavelength component which is included in an irradiation light L2 irradiated from the internal surface 101b side of the transparent member 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
