The control part can execute: a first action in which the medium M is formed with a deflection of a predetermined deflection amount between the first nip portion 92 and the second nip portion 93 in a state where a first nip portion 92 nips the medium M, so that a tip Ma of the medium M follows the second nip portion 93; and a second action in which the deflection formed by the first action is released when the nip of the first nip portion 92 is released after the first action is completed.
