To provide a connector which is excellent in assembly workability and assembly reliability.SOLUTION: A connector includes: terminals 2 each including a terminal connection part and an electric wire crimp part 22; and a housing forming terminal housing chambers 30. The housing includes: a housing body 3 in which a rear portion 3b is open in an upward direction Y1 orthogonal to a terminal insertion direction; and a cover housing which covers the rear portion 3b of the housing body 3. The rear portion 3b of the housing body 3 is formed by a rear bottom wall part 37 which is open in the upward direction Y1. An upper surface 37a of the rear bottom wall part 37 includes: placement areas R1 on each of which the electric wire crimp part 22 is placed; and non-placement areas R2 each located adjacent to the side of the placement area R1.
