Summary:To provide a head system, a liquid discharge device and a liquid discharge method which can improve printing speed.SOLUTION: A head system comprises: a main control circuit which has a first counter; and a plurality of head modules having nozzles. Each of the plurality of head modules includes a sub control circuit having a second counter. The main control circuit and each sub control circuit are serially connected to each other via a communication cable. The main control circuit executes processing of transmitting an image signal to each sub control circuit via the communication cable.
