Summary:To improve a transmission efficiency when performing MIMO transmission using an SC-FDE system.SOLUTION: A pilot signal insertion part 14-1 of a transmission device 1 inserts a UW1 as a reference to a bit sequence. A pilot signal insertion part 14-2 inserts into the bit sequence UW2 obtained by circular-shifting the UW1 by a predetermined amount (2n/2 when a symbol number of a pilot signal sequence is 2n) using the UW1 as reference. The transmission device 1 transmits a modulation wave containing a pilot signal which becomes a relationship obtained by the circular shift between transmission systems. On a reception side, a MIMO channel can be estimated by using the UW1 as a reference and the UW2 obtained by the circular shift. Further, a post side of two continuous UW1 serves also as a CP in a first transmission system and the post side of two continuous UW2 serves also as the CP in a second transmission system, so that it is not required to insert the CP into a block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】SC-FDE方式を用いたMIMO伝送を行う際に、伝送効率を向上させる。【解決手段】送信装置1のパイロット信号挿入部14-1は、ビット系列に対して、基準となるUW1を挿入する。パイロット信号挿入部14-2は、UW1を基準にして、UW1を所定量(パイロット信号系列のシンボル数を2nとした場合、2n/2)だけ巡回シフトさせたものをUW2として、ビット系列に挿入する。送信装置1は、送信系統間で巡回シフトした関係となるパイロット信号を含む変調波を送信する。受信側では、基準となるUW1を及び巡回シフトさせたUW2を用いてMIMOチャネルを推定することができる。また、第1の送信系統では2つの連続するUW1のうち後ろがCPを兼ね、第2の送信系統では2つの連続するUW2のうち後ろがCPを兼ねるため、CPをブロックに挿入する必要がない。【選択図】図2
