Summary:To provide a connector capable of suppressing excessive rise in operation temperature of a terminal while avoiding increase in size of the connector.SOLUTION: A connector 1 comprises: a terminal 10 to be connected with an electric wire 2; and a housing 20 for accommodating the terminal 10. The housing 20 has a structural material composed of a heat sink 50 that can absorb heat generated at the terminal 10 as a part of a skeleton component constituting the housing 20. The housing 20 further comprises an insulative heat transfer member 80 that transfers heat from the terminal 10 to the heat sink 50. The heat transfer member 80 is arranged so that a part 82 of the heat transfer member 80 is in contact with the terminal 10 and another part 83 of the heat transfer member 80 is in contact with the heat sink 50. The heat transfer member 80 has a sheet-like shape, and comprises a through-hole 81 into which the terminal 10 is inserted and a slit 84 connecting between the through-hole 81 and an outer peripheral part of the heat transfer member 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】コネクタの大型化を避けながら端子の動作温度の過度な上昇を抑制可能なコネクタを提供すること。
