Summary:To prevent a dispersion from becoming gel or the dispersion from undergoing a change of viscosity during storage when preparing a pigment dispersion containing perylene black, leading to improved dispersibility of perylene black.SOLUTION: A black pigment dispersion comprises a combination of: perylene black; any derivative represented by chemical formulas 1-3; and a dispersant that is a copolymer comprising a monomer A having a structure of chemical formula 4, a monomer B having a basic functional group, and a monomer C polymerizable with the monomer A and the monomer B, the monomer B being a monomer having a nitrogen-containing heteroaromatic ring group as a basic functional group and/or a monomer having a structure of chemical formula 5, with an amine value of 120 mgKOH/g or more and 200 mgKOH/g or less. The content of perylene black is 5 mass% or more and 25 mass% or less. The perylene black preferably has its average particle size to be controlled to 200 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】ペリレンブラックを含有する顔料分散液を調製する際、分散液がゲル化したり、保存中に分散液の粘度が変化したりすることを防止し、分散性を向上させること。【解決手段】ペリレンブラックと;化学式1~3に示されるいずれかの誘導体と;化学式4の構造を有する単量体Aと、塩基性官能基を有する単量体Bと、単量体A及び単量体Bと重合可能である単量体Cとから構成される共重合体であり、単量体Bが塩基性官能基として含窒素芳香族複素環基を有する単量体及び/又は化学式5の構造を有し、アミン価が120mgKOH/g以上200mgKOH/g以下である分散剤とを併用する。ペリレンブラックの含有量は、5質量%以上25質量%以下である。ペリレンブラックの平均粒子径は200nm以下に調整されることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
