Summary:To provide an in-chamber sample recovery device in a shield machine and a sample recovery method capable of sampling excavated earth and sand over the entire tunnel cross section during tunnel excavation by the shield machine, and capable of appropriately managing a mud additive contained in the excavated earth and sand.SOLUTION: The in-chamber sample recovery device in the shield machine comprises: openings 30 provided at a plurality of locations including at least an upper portion in a chamber partition wall 20 of the shield machine; sample collection means 40 connected to the openings 30 respectively; opening opening/closing means (first ball valve 42) for opening and closing the opening 30; and communication opening/closing means (air release ball valve 52) for converting a communication recovery state in which the sample in the chamber can be recovered and a communication closed state in which the sample in the chamber cannot be recovered by opening and closing a rear end side of the sample collection means 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】シールドマシンによるトンネル掘削中に、トンネル全断面にわたって掘削土砂をサンプリングすることが可能であり、さらに、掘削土砂中に含まれる加泥材についても適切な管理を行うことが可能な、シールドマシンにおけるチャンバー内試料回収装置及び試料回収方法を提供する。【解決手段】シールドマシンのチャンバー隔壁20において、少なくとも上部を含む複数箇所に設けた開口部30と、開口部30にそれぞれ接続された試料回収手段40と、開口部30の開閉を行う開口部開閉手段(第1ボールバルブ42)と、試料回収手段40の後端側を開閉することにより、チャンバー内の試料を回収可能な連通回収状態と、チャンバー内の試料を回収不能な連通閉鎖状態とに変換する連通開閉手段(空気抜きボールバルブ52)とを備える。【選択図】図3
