To provide a method for accurately and easily evaluating a curling degree of eyelashes and a dispersion degree of eyelashes.SOLUTION: There is provided an evaluation method of a dispersion degree of eyelashes which calculates an unbiased variance V(θ) of an angle θ at which a line segment BH connecting a root B with a tip H of an eyelash for the plurality of eyelashes is a horizontal line HL in a side surface around-eye image of a subject, and evaluates a dispersion degree of eyelashes of the subject on the basis of the unbiased variance V(θ). There is provided an evaluation method of a curling degree of eyelashes which calculates a curling value S/Le obtained by dividing an area S of a region surrounded by the line segment BH connecting the root B with the tip H of the eyelash and a line from the root B to the tip H of the eyelash by a length Le of the line from the root B to the tip H of the eyelash in the side surface around-eye image of the subject, and evaluates a curling degree of eyelashes on the basis of the curling value S/Le.
