To provide a rubber sheet transport technique capable of securely picking up a transported rubber sheet which is sagged and hung on festoon bars at a normal chucking position.SOLUTION: A rubber sheet transport device includes: a festoon conveyor having a plurality of festoon bars attached by chain rollers and intermittently driving them; a rubber sheet pick-up device for picking up rubber sheets from the festoon bars; and a position detection sensor for detecting a stop position of the festoon bar at a position of picking up the rubber sheets or in the vicinity thereof. The rubber sheet pick-up device is constituted so as to pick up the rubber sheet from the festoon bar based on detection results by the position detection sensor.
