Summary:To improve, in an electric vehicle that has a battery pack placed below a floor panel, the energy absorption performance of an EA material.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a pair of rockers 32 that extend in a vehicle back-and-forth direction; a floor panel 30 that extends between the pair of rockers; a battery pack 24 that is positioned below the floor panel; and an energy absorption material (EA material) 40 arranged outside the battery pack in a vehicle widthwise direction. The energy absorption material includes: a first component 42 that is fastened to the battery pack; and a second component 44 that is coupled to the external side of the first component in the vehicle widthwise direction, and extends up to the side below the rockers. The first component is thicker than the second component.
