Summary:To provide a connection device, a PV module, and a photovoltaic power generation system that enable Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control for each module.SOLUTION: Each of connection devices 10 is configured to: turn on a first semiconductor switch 6 and a second semiconductor switch 7 simultaneously to set a voltage of a capacitor 4 to zero; immediately after that, turn off the first semiconductor switch 6 and the second semiconductor switch 7 simultaneously to recharge the capacitor 4; meanwhile, calculate generated power of a PV module 1, using a predetermined formula based on a voltage measured by a voltage sensor 5; and scan the voltage to determine and store, as a new maximum power point voltage, a voltage at a point where the generated power being calculated is maximum; and perform step-down DC/DC conversion on the PV module 1, so as to control each PV module so that the voltage of the PV module reaches the maximum power point.
