Summary:To provide a manufacturing method of a soft magnetic particle having smaller coercive force and capable of contributing to reduction of iron loss (in particular, hysteresis loss) of a magnetic core.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a soft magnetic particle includes: a pulverization step of machine pulverization of a ribbon including a soft magnetic alloy (mainly, ferroalloy) in an amorphous state or a nanocrystal state to obtain raw material pieces; and a treatment step of making the raw material pieces contact process liquid to obtain flakes being the raw material pieces each with a surface layer part removed. The flakes thus obtained are in a state where a residual strain or an oxide layer caused on a vicinity of a surface (surface layer part) of the raw material pieces by the machine pulverization is removed, so that coercive force is likely to be smaller. Such flakes have, for instance, granularity of 500 μm or less. Furthermore, such flakes have a long granular cross section, and an aspect ratio being a ratio of a maximum length to a maximum thickness is 5 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】保磁力が小さく、磁心の鉄損(特にヒステリシス損)の低減に寄与できる軟磁性粒子の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、非晶質状またはナノ結晶状の軟磁性合金(主に鉄合金)からなる薄帯を機械粉砕して原料片を得る粉砕工程と、原料片を処理液と接触させて原料片の表層部を除去した薄片を得る処理工程とを備える軟磁性粒子の製造方法である。こうして得られる薄片は、機械粉砕により原料片の表面近傍(表層部)に生じた残留歪みや酸化物層等が除去された状態となっているため、保磁力が小さくなり易い。このような薄片は、例えば、粒度が500μm以下である。また、このような薄片は長粒状断面を有し、例えば、最大厚さに対する最大長の割合であるアスペクト比が5以上なる。【選択図】図1
