Summary:To provide a technique capable of achieving hot water supply through promptly operating the appropriate number of water heaters even when a flow rate of hot water flowing inside a hot water circuit is drastically changed in a coupled hot water supply system.SOLUTION: A coupled hot water supply system comprises: a plurality of water heaters arranged parallel to each other in a hot water circuit; flow rate detection means which detects a flow rate of hot water flowing in the hot water circuit; and number of water heater determination means which determines the number of water heaters to be operated. Each of the plurality of water heaters has: a heat source to heat hot water flowing in the hot water circuit; a switch valve which switches between a state to allow hot water to be circulated through the heat source and a state to prohibit the hot water from being circulated therethrough; and a control device to control operations of the heat source and the switch valve. The number of water heater determination means is adapted to determine the number of water heaters to be operated, in a manner that increases or decreases the number of water heaters by an increment or a decrement in the number of water heaters to be set in accordance with a change speed of the flow rate detected with the flow rate detection means when a predetermined condition is met.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】連結給湯システムにおいて、給湯回路を流れる湯水の流量が大きく変化した場合であっても、適切な給湯装置の運転台数を速やかに実現することが可能な技術を提供する。【解決手段】本明細書が開示する連結給湯システムは、給湯回路に並列に設けられた複数の給湯装置と、給湯回路を流れる湯水の流量を検出する流量検出手段と、複数の給湯装置の運転台数を決定する台数決定手段を備えている。複数の給湯装置のそれぞれは、給湯回路を流れる湯水を加熱する加熱源と、加熱源への湯水の流通を許容する状態と禁止する状態の間で切り換わる切換弁と、加熱源および切換弁の動作を制御する制御装置を備えている。台数決定手段は、所定条件が満たされる場合に、流量検出手段で検出される流量の変化速度に応じて設定される台数変化量だけ、複数の給湯装置の運転台数を変化させる決定をするように構成されている。【選択図】図４
