To provide a faucet that prevents unintentional contact between a tool and a cover during connection work between a water supply pipe and a connection part.SOLUTION: A faucet comprises: a water flow member that has a water flow passage inside that communicates a connection part 511 to the water supply pipe and a water discharge port; and a cover 2 that houses the water flow member, wherein the water flow member has a tool hooking part 515 for hooking a tool when connecting the connection part 511 to the water supply pipe, and the faucet has a cover protection part 63 that has an end part 515a of the tool hooking part 515 located outside the cover 2 in a width direction with the tool hooking part 515 directed in the width direction, and an end part 63a located above the cover 2 in an upward direction with the tool hooking part 515 directed in the width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】給水管と接続部との接続作業時に工具とカバーとの意図しない接触を防ぐ水栓を提供する。【解決手段】給水管への接続部５１１と吐水口とを連通する通水路を内部に有する通水部材と、前記通水部材を収納するカバー２と、を備え、前記通水部材は前記接続部５１１を前記給水管に接続する際に工具を掛ける工具掛け部５１５を有し、前記工具掛け部５１５を幅方向に向けた状態で、前記工具掛け部５１５の端部５１５ａは前記カバー２よりも幅方向外側に位置し、前記工具掛け部５１５を幅方向に向けた状態で、上方向において前記カバー２よりも上方に端部６３ａが位置するカバー保護部６３を有することを特徴とする水栓である。【選択図】図６
