To provide an extrusion apparatus and a strand die that can improve quality of a strand.SOLUTION: An extrusion apparatus 1 in one embodiment includes: a cylindrical cylinder 20 extending in one direction with a flow path 26 through which a raw material 60 of a strand 61 flows; a strand die 40 disposed at one end of the cylinder 20 and having an inlet 44 through which the raw material 60 extruded from the cylinder 20 flows, a discharge port 45 through which the raw material 60 is discharged as the strands 61, and a flow path 46 through which the raw material 60 flows from the inlet 44 to the discharge port 45; and a screw 30 that pushes the raw material 60 toward the discharge port 45 by rotating around a rotary shaft extending in one direction. If the cross-sectional areas of the flow paths 26 and 46 orthogonal to the one direction are defined as flow-path cross-sectional areas, the flow-path cross-sectional area in the flow path 46 of the strand die 40 to the discharge port 45 side from a tip of the screw 30 is smaller than the flow-path cross-sectional area in the flow path 46 of the cylinder 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】ストランドの品質を向上させることができる押出装置及びストランドダイを提供する。【解決手段】一実施形態に係る押出装置１は、ストランド６１の原料６０が流れる流路２６を有する一方向に延びた筒状のシリンダ２０と、シリンダ２０の一端側に配置され、シリンダ２０から押し出された原料６０が流入する流入口４４、原料６０をストランド６１として吐出する吐出口４５、及び、流入口４４から吐出口４５まで原料６０が流れる流路４６を有するストランドダイ４０と、一方向に延びた回転軸を中心に回転することにより、原料６０を吐出口４５側に押し出すスクリュ３０と、を備え、一方向に直交する流路２６及び４６の断面積を流路断面積とすると、ストランドダイ４０の流路４６におけるスクリュ３０の先端よりも吐出口４５側の流路断面積は、シリンダ２０の流路４６における流路断面積よりも小さい。【選択図】図６
