The input device 1 includes a body unit 10, a touch sensor 11, and a control unit 12. The body unit 10 is attached to the thumb 101. The touch sensor 11 detects contact with one of four fingers 110 other than the thumb 101. The control unit 12 generates and outputs an output signal in response to the detection of contact by the touch sensor 11.
