To solve the problems that a flexible container bag is brought into contact with a machine body and the flexible container bag is sometimes broken, since the flexible container bag is lowered onto a field behind the machine body, and the flexible container bag lowered onto the field when crops in an adjacent ridge are harvested is in the close vicinity of a lateral side of the advancing machine body.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester is provided with: a placing stand 26 comprising a base side stand 52 inside a machine body, having an inside rotatably pivoted on the machine body, and a tip side stand 55 outside the machine body, having an inside rotatably pivoted on the outside end of the base side stand 52; an actuator 66 for displacing the placing stand 26 to a state that a housing member 22 is placed thereon, and a housing state that the lower side of the housing member 22 is opened so as to lower the housing member 22 to a downward field; and a movement device 24 for suspending the housing member 22 so as to lower onto the field in the outside in the left and right direction of the machine body, and displacing the placing stand 26 to a housed state so as to lower onto the field where the lower side of the housing member 22 is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】フレコンバッグを機体後方の圃場に降ろすので、隣接条の作物を収穫する際に圃場に降ろされたフレコンバッグが進行する機体のすぐ側方にあり、機体にフレコンバッグが接触してフレコンバッグが破れることがある。【解決手段】機体に回動自在に内側が枢支された機体内側の基側台５２と基側台５２外側端に回動自在に内側が枢支された機体外側の先側台５５よりなる載置台２６を設け、載置台２６を収容部材２２を載置する状態と収容部材２２を下方の圃場に降ろすように収容部材２２の下方を開放する収納状態に変位するアクチュエータ６６を設け、収容部材２２を吊って機体左右方向外側の圃場及び載置台２６が収納状態に変位して収容部材２２の下方が開放された圃場に降ろす移動装置２４を設ける。【選択図】図４
