Summary: | To provide a laminate excellent in effect of preventing peeping from an oblique direction, and a display including the same.SOLUTION: A light absorption anisotropic film consists of the cured product of a liquid crystal composition including dichroic dye and a liquid crystal compound. When a position direction optional in a film surface is the x-axis and the orthogonal directions are the y-axis and the z axis, the formula: [Az>(Ax+Ay)/2, Ax(z=60°)/Ax>5 and Ay(z=60°)/Ay>5] are satisfied. A laminate includes a horizontal alignment retardation film i satisfying the formula: [70 nm≤Rei(550)≤170nm]; a polarizer; and a horizontal alignment retardation film ii satisfying the formula: [120 nm≤Reii(550)≤160nm] in this order. [Where, Ax, Ay, Az, Ax (z=60°) and Ay (z=60°) are absorbances in the absorption maximum wavelength of the dichroic dye in the light absorption anisotropic film, and Re (λ) is the in-plane retardation value of the horizontal alignment retardation film in a wavelength λ.]SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
