Summary:To provide a plug capable of sealing gas for back shield with the plug itself, a piping structure, and an installation method for the plug.SOLUTION: A plug 1 closes a through hole 51 formed on a pipe 50 from an outer peripheral surface side of the pipe 50 and includes: a columnar nozzle part 20 extending in an axis X direction; and a seal part 30 which is connected to the nozzle part 20 and defines a retention space S for retaining gas between itself and the nozzle part 20 in the through hole 51.
