Summary:To fold an exterior coating body while suppressing damages due to a heat to a power generation element.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a laminate type battery, comprises: a power generation element; and an exterior coating body into which the power generation element is formed by a laminate film and is included so as to be closed to a center from a peripheral edge part. The manufacturing method of the laminate type battery, includes: a first step of making a metal round wire contact with one part of the peripheral edge part of the exterior coating body; and a second step of folding the peripheral edge part of the exterior coating body to one surface side as using the metal round wire as a guide while heating the metal round wire.
