To simultaneously solve problems that a user is likely to be indeterminate about what posture an optional member is fitted in at which position, a structure of a fixing part for removably fitting the optional member becomes complicated, and the kind of fixing parts increases as the kind of fitting postures increases and assembling becomes increasingly complicated, in furniture with a top board capable of fitting the optional member such as a cord receiver on a non-use end side of the top board so that postures are changeable.SOLUTION: Furniture with a top board has: a top board 7 having a common fixing part 72 at a fixed position; and a multi-functional member 85 which has three or more fitting surfaces 85a, 85b, 85c that can be fixed to the common fixed part 72 of the top board 7 and can be selectively fitted to the top board 7 by selectively fixing one of the fitting surfaces 85a, 85b, 85c, to a common fixing part 72 in three or more kinds of postures.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20 【課題】天板の反使用端側にコード受けなどのオプション部材を姿勢変更可能に装着することができるようにした天板付き家具において、オプション部材をいずれの位置にいかなる姿勢で取り付けたらよいか使用者に迷いが生じ易い、オプション部材を着脱可能に取付けるための止着箇所の構造が複雑化する、取付姿勢の種類を増加させると止着箇所の種類も同時に増加することになり組立時の混乱に拍車がかかることになる、といった課題を同時に解消する。【解決手段】天板付き家具を、定位置に共通止着箇所７２を有する天板７と、この天板７の共通止着箇所７２に止着可能な３つ以上の取付面８５ａ、８５ｂ、８５ｃを有しそれら取付面８５ａ、８５ｂ、８５ｃの１つを共通止着箇所７２に選択的に止着することにより３種類以上の姿勢で天板７に選択取付けが可能な多機能部材８５とを備えたものとする。【選択図】図２０
