Summary:To provide a semi-solidifying/molding method that can manufacture a molded product that has mechanical properties such as intensity on the same level as a forged product and causes no variations in mechanical property for each product.SOLUTION: In the semi-solidifying/molding method, metal billets made of Al-Cu system alloy, Al-Mn system alloy, Al-Si system alloy, Al-Mg system alloy or the like, which are obtained by rapidly cooling molten metal and whose particle diameters are 50 μm or less are heated and are subjected to solid-solution processing in a semi-solidified state temperature region, and then are subjected to post-press molding or diecasting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】鍛造品レベルの強度などの機械的性質を有し、かつ、製品ごとに機械的特性のバラツキはない成形品を製造可能な半凝固成形方法を提供する。【解決手段】溶湯を急速冷却して得られた粒径が50μm以下の、Al-Cu系合金、Al-Mn系合金、Al-Si系合金、Al-Mg系合金等の金属ビレットを加熱し、半凝固状態温度領域において固溶体化処理を行った後プレス成形又はダイキャストを行うことを特徴とする半凝固成形方法。【選択図】図1
