Summary:To provide a rotary motor in which a surface part of a magnet is not demagnetized.SOLUTION: A motor 1 includes a first stator 4 and a rotor 3. The rotor 3 includes a frame 13 connected to a rotation shaft 2, and a permanent magnet 14 fixed to the frame 13. When a direction from the first stator 4 to the rotor 3 is set to be a lower stage upper magnetization direction 38, the permanent magnet 14 includes a plurality of lower stage main magnetic pole magnets 44 in which a magnetization direction is the lower stage upper magnetization direction 38, and a plurality of lower stage second rightward secondary magnets 35 and lower stage second leftward secondary magnets 37 in which the magnetization directions are different from the lower stage upper magnetization direction 38. The lower stage main magnetic pole magnet 44 includes: a lower stage first upper main magnet 32 arranged on a negative side of the lower stage upper magnetization direction 38; and a lower stage second upper main magnet 34 fixed to the frame 13.
