Summary:To more accurately determine whether a nozzle is abnormal or not while suppressing the influence of noise.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device obtains a signal during non-driving that is output from a signal processing circuit in a state where driving for inspection is not performed (S102); obtains a signal for determination for determining whether a nozzle is abnormal or not, which is output from the signal processing circuit when making an inkjet head perform the driving for inspection (S104); overlaps the signal for determination with the signal during non-driving so that a difference between a value of the signal for determination and a value of signal during non-driving becomes minimum to generate a differential signal that is a signal showing the difference between the value of the signal for determination and the value of the signal during non-driving at each timing (S105); and determines whether the nozzle is abnormal or not on the basis of the differential signal (S106).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】ノイズの影響を抑えて異常ノズルであるか否かをより精度よく判定する。
