Summary: | To provide a technology that solves the problem that could occur when installing an absorption element and reduces bearing detection errors by a radar device.SOLUTION: A radar device 1 comprises an antenna unit 341, cover units 32, 8, and a radio wave suppression unit 36. The antenna unit includes an antenna surface 35 on which one or more antennas that radiate a radio wave are installed, and is constituted so as to radiate an object radio wave of a predetermined frequency band. The cover unit is constituted so as to be installed at a position where the object radio wave passes through. The radio wave suppression unit is formed integrally with the cover unit in a range of an outer surface of the cover unit on an outer surface of the cover unit in a detection range outside area 40 that is an area outside a range of detection angles of the antenna unit, and includes conductive parts 50 having electric conductivity and non-conductive parts 60 not having electric conductivity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
