To provide a displacement meter advantageous in determining an installation position.SOLUTION: A displacement meter measures the displacement of an object to be measured, and has: an illumination system that illuminates the object to be measured with light emitted from a light source; a light receiving system including a detection section that detects light reflected on the object to be measured, and a light receiving lens that collects light to the detection section; and a unit including a light shielding member that is arranged between the illumination system and the object to be measured and has a first light transmission section and a second light transmission section, and a condenser lens that collects light from the first light transmission section and the second light transmission section.
