To provide a monitoring device that does not need a power source for a sensor part.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 1 includes: a vibration electricity generation element 10 as a vibration electricity generation unit for generating electricity in reaction with sound or frequency of a predetermined frequency as a monitor target; and a notification unit 70 for notifying of the change of the state of the monitor target according to the magnitude relation of the voltage value of electricity generation by the vibration electricity generation element 10 and a predetermined threshold value.
