To provide a powder compaction device capable of compacting powder while preventing or suppressing the granulation (agglomeration) of powder by applying suitable pressure to the powder with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A powder compaction device 1 comprises: a cylinder 3; pushing means 6 for pushing powder into the cylinder 3; and opening/closing means 9, 14, 15, 16, 18, 22, and 23 for opening/closing the other end parts. The opening/closing means 9, 14, 15, 16, 18, 22, and 23 have a lid part 9 closing the other end part. The lid part 9 has a protrusion part 12 formed integrally with the lid part 9 and arranged at the inside of the cylinder 3 in a state where the other end part is closed by the lid part 9. The protrusion part 12 is smoothly curved so that the outer peripheral face of the protrusion part 12 is made into a protrusion curved face toward the outside in the radial direction of the cylinder 3 and is composed into a truncated cone shape where the outer diameter of the protrusion part 12 is gradually reduced from the other end part side in an axial direction toward one end part side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】簡易な構成で粉末に対して適切な圧力を掛けて粉末の粒状（塊状）化を防止もしくは抑制しつつ、圧密することのできる粉末圧密装置を提供すること。【解決手段】シリンダ３と、シリンダ３内に粉末を押し込む押し込み手段６と、他方の端部を開閉する開閉手段９，１４，１５，１６，１８，２２，２３とを備えた粉末圧密装置１であって、開閉手段９，１４，１５，１６，１８，２２，２３は、他方の端部を閉じるフタ部９を有し、フタ部９は、フタ部９に一体に形成されていてフタ部９によって他方の端部を閉じた状態でシリンダ３の内部に配置される凸部１２を有しており、凸部１２は、凸部１２の外周面がシリンダ３の半径方向で外側に向かって凸曲面となるように滑らかに湾曲しかつ軸線方向で他方の端部側から一方の端部側に向かって凸部１２の外径が次第に減少する円錐台状に構成されている。【選択図】図１
