Summary:To provide a horizontality keeping device capable of securing a horizontal state and using a work device of a construction machine even at a construction site having large unevenness which is ununiformly inclined.SOLUTION: A horizontality keeping device (10) includes a control target plate (1) to which a base part (21) of a work device (a balance arm 20) of a construction machine is fixed, actuators (R, L, C) provided at apexes of a triangle of the control target plate, a measurement device (2) measuring the inclination of the control target plate, and a control device (3) determining an extension/contraction amount of the actuator based on a measured result of the measurement device. The control device includes a function of calculating a virtual extension/contraction amount of the actuator such that the control target plate becomes horizontal, a function of calculating a correction value (F) based on the virtual extension/contraction amount such that the actuator gets closer to a neutral position after the actuator is extended/contracted, and a function of calculating an (actual) extension/contraction amount of the actuator according to the virtual extension/contraction amount and the correction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】不陸が大きく、傾斜が不均一である建設現場においても、水平状態を確保して、建設機械の作業装置を使用することが出来る様な水平維持装置の提供。【解決手段】本発明の水平維持装置(10)は、建設機械の作業装置(バランスアーム20)の基部(21)が固定される制御対象板(1)と、制御対象板の三角形の頂点に配置されるアクチュエータ(R、L、C)と、制御対象板の傾斜を計測する計測装置(2)と、計測装置の計測結果に基づき、アクチュエータの伸縮量を決定する制御装置(3)を含み、制御装置は、制御対象板が水平になる様に、アクチュエータの仮想的な伸縮量を演算する機能と、アクチュエータが伸縮後に中立位置に近接する様に、仮想的な伸縮量に基づいて補正値(F)を演算する機能と、仮想的な伸縮量と補正値から、アクチュエータの(実際の)伸縮量を演算する機能を備えている。【選択図】図2
