To easily identify the cause of allophone generated in a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle diagnosis supporting system 10 is used for a diagnosis target vehicle 20, which has an internal combustion engine 22 with two types of fuel injection valves, a port injection valve and a cylinder inside valve. The vehicle diagnosis supporting system causes a high-pressure fuel pump to forcibly operate while the internal combustion engine 22 is doing an idle operation when the vehicle is frequently driven in a city, and conducts an allophone diagnosis to determine whether the high-pressure fuel pump is causing the allophone on the basis of sound generated in the vehicle while the forcible operation is done.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車両で発生する異音の原因特定を容易とする。【解決手段】車両診断支援システム１０は、診断対象の車両２０が、ポート噴射弁及び筒内噴射弁の２種の燃料噴射弁を備える内燃機関２２を搭載する車両であって、市街地走行の頻度が高い車両ある場合には、高圧燃料ポンプを内燃機関２２のアイドル運転中に強制動作させるとともに、その強制動作中に車両で発生する音に基づいて異音の原因が高圧燃料ポンプにあるか否かを判定する異音診断を実施する。【選択図】図１
