Abstract | To provide a core material that is for use in a multilayered object including the core material and a polyurethane foam disposed thereon, improves a dimensional stability of the multilayered object being produced, and can be easily separated from the polyurethane foam when the multilayered object is disassembled.SOLUTION: There is provided a core material 100C composed of molded thermoplastic resin expanded beads, the core material is configured in that: an expanded bead molded article 100 is a molded article formed by fusion bonding of expanded bead having through holes; an average porosity of the expanded bead molded article is 10% or more and 25% or less; on a surface of the expanded bead molded article, a ratio of a total opening area of through-hole portions 14 of the expanded bead to a surface area of the expanded bead molded article is 2% or more and 5% or less; an average opening area of the through-hole portion of the expanded bead is 5 mm2 or more and 20 mm2 or less; and a ratio of a total number of through-hole portions with an opening area of 2 mm2 or more to a total number of through-hole portions of the expanded beads is 60% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
