Summary:To provide a core material that is for use in a multilayered object including the core material and a polyurethane foam disposed thereon, improves a dimensional stability of the multilayered object being produced, and can be easily separated from the polyurethane foam when the multilayered object is disassembled.SOLUTION: There is provided a core material 100C composed of molded thermoplastic resin expanded beads, the core material is configured in that: an expanded bead molded article 100 is a molded article formed by fusion bonding of expanded bead having through holes; an average porosity of the expanded bead molded article is 10% or more and 25% or less; on a surface of the expanded bead molded article, a ratio of a total opening area of through-hole portions 14 of the expanded bead to a surface area of the expanded bead molded article is 2% or more and 5% or less; an average opening area of the through-hole portion of the expanded bead is 5 mm2 or more and 20 mm2 or less; and a ratio of a total number of through-hole portions with an opening area of 2 mm2 or more to a total number of through-hole portions of the expanded beads is 60% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】芯材と、これに積層されるポリウレタンフォームとを備える積層体に用いられる当該芯材に関し、積層体の製造時の寸法安定性を改善し、積層体の解体時にポリウレタンフォームとの分離が容易である芯材を提供する。【解決手段】芯材100Cは、発泡粒子成形体100が、貫通孔を有する発泡粒子が相互に融着してなる成形体であり、発泡粒子成形体の平均空隙率が10%以上25%以下であり、発泡粒子成形体の表面において、発泡粒子成形体の表面積に対する、発泡粒子の貫通孔部分14の開口面積の合計の割合が2%以上5%以下であり、発泡粒子の貫通孔部分の平均開口面積が5mm2以上20mm2以下であり、発泡粒子の貫通孔部分の個数の合計に対する、開口面積2mm2以上の貫通孔部分の個数の合計の割合が60%以下となるよう構成される。【選択図】図2
