Summary:To provide a joint formation method and a formwork structure that reduce adhesion between pre-cast concrete and post-cast concrete in lining concrete.SOLUTION: A joint forming method is a method of forming a joint 7A at a boundary between pre-cast concrete 11 and post-cast concrete 12 in lining concrete 3 of a tunnel 1, and comprises: a pre-casting step of constructing the pre-cast concrete 11 in which a first chamfered portion 11a is formed by a first wooden frame portion 13a; and a post-casting step of constructing the post-cast concrete 12 in which a chamfered portion 12a is formed by a second wooden frame portion 14a.
