To provide a travel control apparatus capable of appropriately controlling a lane change of a vehicle regardless of whether there is a lane-change section or not.SOLUTION: A travel control apparatus includes: a setting unit for setting, at a first lane, a lane change section in which a lane change is to be executed by automatic operation which does not involve operations by a driver of the vehicle from a first lane on which the vehicle is traveling among multiple lanes included in a road to a second lane adjacent to the first lane; a change unit for detecting, in the first lane, a restricted section in which a lane change from the first lane to the second lane is restricted, dividing the lane change section into a first section and a second section if a restricted section is detected, and placing the first section and second section before and after the restricted section, respectively; and an execution unit for executing the lane change from the first lane to the second lane in the lane change section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】車線変更区間の有無にかかわらず適切に車両の車線変更を制御することができる走行制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】走行制御装置は、道路に含まれる複数の車線のうち車両が走行する第１の車線から第１の車線に隣接する第２の車線に車両の運転者の操作を必要としない自動運転により移動する車線変更が実行される車線変更区間を第１の車線に設定する設定部と、第１の車線において第１の車線から第２の車線への車線変更が制限される制限区間を検出し、車線変更区間内に制限区間が検出された場合、車線変更区間を第１区間および第２区間に分割し、第１区間および第２区間のそれぞれを制限区間の前後に配置する変更部と、車線変更区間で第１の車線から第２の車線への車線変更を実行する実行部と、を備える。【選択図】図５
