To provide a concrete surface layer modification method capable of improving both of a construction aspect and a cost aspect such as the complication of steps and the increase of a material cost and imparting performance such as dryness suppression and moisture infiltration prevention (water absorption prevention) to a concrete surface layer.SOLUTION: A concrete molding surface layer modification method comprises the steps in which: the surface in contact with concrete of a flask used for concrete construction is coated with a concrete surface layer modifier; concrete is poured into the flask; the poured concrete is cured for a fixed period; and, after the curing, demolding is performed to obtain a concrete molding in which the concrete surface layer modifier is transferred to the concrete surface. The concrete surface layer modifier comprises: (A) fatty acid ester; and (B) at least one kind of alkoxysilane selected from a silane compound, the hydrolysate of the silane compound, the polycondensate of the silane compound and a reaction product of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of the silane compound, the hydrolysate and the polycondensate with a polyoxyalkylene compound or the derivative(s) thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】工程の繁雑化や材工費の増加といった施工面・コスト面の双方を改善でき、かつ、乾燥抑制や水分浸入防止（吸水防止）といった性能をコンクリート表層に付与できるコンクリート表層の改質工法を提供すること。【解決手段】コンクリートの施工に用いる型枠のコンクリートと接する表面にコンクリート表層改質剤を塗布する工程、該型枠内に、コンクリートを打ち込む工程、該打ち込まれたコンクリートを一定期間養生する工程、養生後、脱型し、該コンクリート表層改質剤がコンクリート表面に転写されたコンクリート成形物を得る工程を含み、該コンクリート表層改質剤が、脂肪酸エステル（Ａ）と、シラン化合物、該シラン化合物の加水分解物、該シラン化合物の重縮合物、並びに、該シラン化合物、該加水分解物及び該重縮合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも１種とポリオキシアルキレン化合物との反応生成物から選択される少なくとも１種のアルコキシシラン又はその誘導体（Ｂ）とを含有する、コンクリート成形物の表層改質方法。【選択図】図５
