To provide a printer which enables reduction of a possibility that a cleaning fluid of a cleaning member, which wipes a nozzle surface, leaks to the outside of a cleaning fluid tank, and to provide a cleaning assembly of the printer.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a head having a nozzle surface provided with nozzles for discharging an ink; a cleaning fluid tank 5A which retains a cleaning fluid; a wiper which is provided within the cleaning fluid tank 5A and wipes the nozzle surface; a holding member 65A which extends from an exterior of the cleaning fluid tank 5A to an interior of the cleaning fluid tank and holds the wiper; a first motor which drives the holding member 65A; and a liquid leakage prevention member which is provided in at least one of the cleaning fluid tank 5A and the holding member 65A and prevents leakage of the cleaning fluid from the cleaning fluid tank 5A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】ノズル面を払拭するクリーニング部材の洗浄液が洗浄液槽の外部に漏れる可能性を低減する印刷装置及び印刷装置の洗浄アッセンブリを提供する。【解決手段】印刷装置は、インクを吐出するノズルが形成されたノズル面を有するヘッドと、洗浄液を保持する洗浄液槽５Ａと、洗浄液槽５Ａの内部に設けられ、ノズル面を払拭するワイパーと、洗浄液槽５Ａの外部から洗浄液槽の内部に延び、ワイパーを保持する保持部材６５Ａと、保持部材６５Ａを駆動する第１モータと、洗浄液槽５Ａ、及び保持部材６５Ａの少なくとも一方に設けられ、洗浄液が洗浄液槽５Ａから漏れることを防止する液漏れ防止部材とを備える。【選択図】図６
