Summary:To provide a balloon catheter and a balloon catheter system capable of inhibiting a temperature gradient in a balloon from occurring even when bending of a shaft occurs, and efficiently diffusing heated fluid in the balloon.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter includes: a shaft having a lumen for delivering fluid; a balloon attached to the tip of the shaft, which communicates with the lumen; and a first electrode and a second electrode disposed in the lumen.
