Summary:To improve linearity and suppress an error in distance precision by making an inflection point of a measured distance negligible.SOLUTION: A distance measuring device includes: a light emitting part for emitting light pulses according to a light emission timing; a light reception part for acquiring an exposure signal according to exposure timing; a distance calculation part for calculating a distance to a measured object on the basis of the exposure signal; and a distance computing data composition part. The distance calculation part executes a first calculation for emitting a first light pulse having a first pulse width and computing a distance by applying plural kinds of calculations to the obtained exposure signal, and a second calculation for emitting a second light pulse having a second pulse width larger than the first pulse width and calculating a distance by using the obtained exposure signal, and the distance computing data composition part calculates a distance to a measured object by using the first calculation result and the second calculation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】計測距離の変曲点を軽微にすることで、直線性の改善、距離精度の誤差の抑制を目的とする。【解決手段】本願発明の好ましい一側面は、発光タイミングに従って光パルスを照射する発光部と、露光タイミングに従って露光信号を取得する受光部と、前記露光信号に基づいて被測定物までの距離を計算する距離計算部と、距離演算データ合成部と、を備え、前記距離計算部は、第1のパルス幅を持つ第1の光パルスを照射して、得られる前記露光信号に対して複数種の計算を適用して距離を計算する第1の計算と、前記第1のパルス幅より大きな第2のパルス幅を持つ第2の光パルスを照射して、得られる前記露光信号を用いて距離を計算する第2の計算と、を実行し、前記距離演算データ合成部は、前記第1の計算の結果および前記第2の計算の結果を用いて被測定物までの距離を算出する、距離計測装置である。【選択図】 図5
