To provide a measurement method of damage of a road surface which can inexpensively and highly accurately measure the damage of a road surface.SOLUTION: A measurement method of damage of a road surface comprises: a step S1 of arranging a reference ruler on the surface of a road; a step S2 of obtaining a reference ruler image by imaging the reference ruler with an imaging device installed in a vehicle; a step S3 of separating a ruler pixel from the reference ruler image to store the ruler pixel in a ruler layer; a step S4 of obtaining a road surface image by imaging the road surface with the imaging device while traveling on the road with a vehicle; a step S5 of extracting the road surface image in which the damage of the road surface is photographed; a step S6 of creating a composite image by combining the road surface image and the reference ruler image; a step S7 of setting an auxiliary line so as to surround the damage of the road surface in the composite image; and a step S8 of calculating the magnitude of the damage on the basis of the auxiliary line and a reference pixel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】道路の路面の損傷を安価かつ良好な精度で測定できる路面の損傷の測定方法を提供する。【解決手段】路面の損傷の測定方法は、基準定規を道路の表面に配置するステップＳ１と、車両に設置された撮像装置で基準定規を撮影して基準定規画像を得るステップＳ２と、基準定規画像から定規画素を分離して定規レイヤーに格納するステップＳ３と、車両で道路を走行しながら撮像装置で路面を撮影して路面画像を得るステップＳ４と、路面の損傷が映っている路面画像を抽出するステップＳ５と、路面画像と基準定規画像とを重ね合わせて複合画像を作成するステップＳ６と、複合画像中の路面の損傷を取り囲むように補助線を設定するステップＳ７と、補助線と基準画素に基づいて損傷の大きさを算定するステップＳ８を有する。【選択図】図１
