To provide a stator used for a rotary electric machine, capable of suppressing overheat of a coupling member.SOLUTION: A stator includes: a stator core (25) formed with a plurality of slots (24); a plurality of conductor segments (31) inserted into the slot, electrically connected with each other to constitute stator wiring; a coupling member arranged at the inside (P1, P2) of the slot, connecting the conductor segments inserted respectively from both sides, including a cylindrical part to form a communication part communicating the inside with the outside thereof; and a conduction part conducting the plurality of conductor segments coupled by the coupling member, separately from the coupling member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】回転電機に用いられる固定子において、連結部材の過熱を抑制する。【解決手段】固定子は、複数のスロット（２４）が形成された固定子コア（２５）と、スロットに挿入され、互いに電気的に接続されて固定子巻線を構成する複数の導体セグメント（３１）と、スロットの内部（Ｐ１，Ｐ２）に配置され、筒状部を含んで筒状部に両側からそれぞれ挿入された導体セグメントを連結し、内外を連通させる連通部が形成されている連結部材と、連結部材により連結された複数の導体セグメントを、連結部材と別に導通させる導通部と、を備える。【選択図】 図４
