Summary:To provide a magnetic geared rotary machine, a power generation system and a magnetic pole piece rotor that can reduce eddy current loss while suppressing an influence on a magnetic path of a stator magnet.SOLUTION: A magnetic pole piece 32 of a magnetic geared rotary machine 10 includes an outer edge 60 and one or more inner edges 70. The outer edge 60 forms, in a radial section of the magnetic geared rotary machine 10, a first surface 51 of the magnetic pole piece 32 which faces a rotor 40 across a first air gap G1 and a second surface 52 of the magnetic pole piece 32 which faces a stator 20 across a second air gap G2. The inner edges 70 are located radially between the first surface 51 and second surface 52 to be encircled with the outer edge 60, and define one or more air gaps 80 in the magnetic pole piece 32.
