To provide a side cover and a saddle-riding type vehicle which can supply a proper amount of air to an air cleaner.SOLUTION: A side cover 60 of a saddle-riding type vehicle 10 comprises: a suction spot 84 which is arranged on the lateral side of a suction port 76 of an air cleaner 70 in an inner wall 82; a front opening 86 which is on the front side with respect to the suction spot 84 and guides the air to the inner wall 82 side from an outer wall 80 side; and a protrusion part 90 which is between the front opening 86 and the suction spot 84 and on the lower side with respect to the suction spot 84 and protrudes from the inner wall 82. The protrusion part 90 includes an inclined surface 96 which is inclined with respect to a lower straight line LL connecting the lower end of the front opening 86 and the lower end of the suction spot 84 in the side view.
