To provide a water purifier provided with a filter part, allowing backwash of a filter material in the filter part, and enabling space-saving and efficient backwash of the filter material.SOLUTION: A water purifier includes: a raw water introduction part in which raw water is introduced; a filter part filtering a solid content included in the raw water; a filtering flow pass set so that the raw water introduced from the raw water introduction part is passed at least through the filter part and drained to the outside when filtering the raw water; a backwashing flow pass set so that the raw water introduced from the raw water introduction part is passed through the filter part in a flow opposite to the flow of the raw water in the filtering flow pass and drained to the outside when performing backwash of the filter material in the filter part; and a plurality of switch valves switching the setting between the filtering flow pass and the backwashing flow pass.
