To provide a test method that can test for the presence of Salmonella more rapidly (i.e., in less time than conventional methods).SOLUTION: Provided is a method for detecting Salmonella comprising: an incubation step of dispersing a test sample in a medium and incubating it under Salmonella culture conditions; a centrifugation step of centrifuging the culture solution obtained in the incubation step to collect bacteria; a lysate solution preparation step of preparing a lysate solution from the cells obtained in the centrifugation step; a nucleic acid extraction step of extracting nucleic acid from the lysate; and a nucleic acid detection step of amplifying the nucleic acid by the LAMP method using a primer set targeting the nucleic acid of Salmonella and detecting Salmonella by the ATP detection method.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】より迅速に（すなわち、従来よりも短時間で）サルモネラ菌の存在を検査できる検査方法を提供することを、課題とする。【解決手段】被験試料を培地に分散して、サルモネラ属菌の培養条件下でインキュベートする、インキュベート工程と、前記インキュベート工程で得られた培養液を遠心して、集菌する遠心工程と、前記遠心工程で得られた菌体から、ライゼート液を調製する、ライゼート液調製工程と、前記ライゼート液から、核酸を抽出する、核酸抽出工程と、サルモネラ属菌の核酸をターゲットとするプライマーセットを使用して、ＬＡＭＰ法で核酸増幅し、ＡＴＰ検出法により検出する、核酸検出工程と、を含む、サルモネラ属菌の検出方法。【選択図】 なし
